AN INSIDER SPEAKS ON CARLY…check this/pass it on

***The truth about Carly..from a business insider***
Carly Fiorina will now be the target of vicious attacks about her time at HP. Here is the real story from someone who was there. For those of you unfamiliar with Tom Perkins, he was one of the original venture capitalists. Since its founding in 1972, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers has backed entrepreneurs in more than 500 ventures including AOL,, Navigenics, Citrix, Compaq, Electronic Arts, Genentech, Genomic Health, Geron Corporation, Google, Intuit, Juniper Networks, Nebula, Netscape, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, Verisign, WebMD and Zynga. Kleiner and Perkins came from technology industry backgrounds; Kleiner was a founder of Fairchild Semiconductor and Perkins was from Hewlett-Packard’s early computer hardware division. Please read this and make your own decision.

By Tom Perkins…September 18, 2015
The consensus is clear: Carly Fiorina won both the first and now second Republican Primary debates. As a result she is climbing in the polls and into the top tier of candidates. Her rise has led pundits to speculate about her tenure as CEO of Hewlett-Packard.

I was a member of the HP Board of Directors much of the time Carly was the CEO (1999-2005). I was in the room for many of the decisions she made. I can attest to the strength of Carly’s leadership, the accuracy of her vision and the quality of her management.

Carly was an excellent CEO. She led HP through one of the worst economic times in decades. Less than two years into Carly’s leadership, the dot com bubble went bust. Silicon Valley was in chaos. Companies were shedding jobs almost daily. There were so many layoffs The Associated Press ran weekly announcements regarding layoffs at tech companies. And The San Francisco Chronicle declared 2001 “The Year of the Layoff.”

While other Silicon Valley icons like Sun Microsystems disappeared, Carly’s vision and execution not only helped to save HP but made it a strong, more versatile company that could compete in the changing technology sector.
I was on the Compaq Board during the HP-Compaq merger and remained a member of the new HP Board once the merger was complete. Both companies knew that we needed something dramatic to inject life back into our companies.
The merger, while controversial, was unanimously approved by every member of the HP Board and won approval from shareholders. Thanks to Carly’s leadership there was a path forward for this storied but troubled company.
Critics questioned the move, but history proves Carly was right. Post merger, HP became the biggest computer company in the world. It positioned HP to compete in integrated systems and allowed us to compete in sectors beyond the core strength of the company, printers.

Carly was hired at HP because it was struggling. Revenues were down, quarterly earnings were missed, innovation lagged and growth stagnated. HP, once the leader in Silicon Valley, was clinging to the status quo and failing to embrace the new tech era.
Silicon Valley companies were prospering by taking advantage of the new technologies; HP was stubbornly clinging to the past. HP needed a change agent and someone who could return the company to its glory days. Carly was the right choice.

The results of Carly’s transformational leadership? HP revenues doubled to more than $80 billion, innovation tripled to 15 patents per day, the growth rate more than quadrupled 6.5 percent and we grew to become the 11th largest company in the country.

Carly did what she was brought in to do: turn the company around and make it successful again. Not only did she save the company from the dire straits it was in, she laid the foundation for HP’s future growth.

Critics often claim was fired at HP because she was unsuccessful. As a member of the board, I can tell you this is not true.
In truth, it was the Board I was a part of that was ineffective and dysfunctional. The HP board of directors included family members of the founders. Carly worked with the hand she was dealt as best as one could. While Carly fought to save the company and the employees within, some board members fought for their own power or advancement.

You see, some board members wanted to micro-manage the company, hand picking friends and allies to run divisions. This is no way to run a global company and Carly had the strength of character and courage of conviction to stand up to it and ultimately she lost her job because of it.
While lesser leaders would have accepted offers of transition plans and graceful resignations, Carly would have none of that. Carly demanded to be fired. In order to restore peace to the board I voted to fire her. That was a mistake.
In the months and years after Carly left, the Board of Directors remained dysfunctional. The Board members who plotted Carly’s ouster eventually resigned after an embarrassing investigation by Congress.
I have no question that Carly is a transformational leader who uniquely has both vision and the expertise to implement it. We are in the middle of a heated election, and often facts and the truth get lost in the heat of partisan rhetoric.
As someone who worked with and observed Carly first hand I can attest to her abilities, intellect and talent. I am proud to support Carly Fiorina for President of the United States.
Tom Perkins is the founder of the California venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, arguably the most famous and successful VC firm in Silicon Valley history.
The RINOs and lib media whores will not talk about this…bet on that…the dementoCrats are after her for ONE reason…she is boldly “calling out” OzBama
and Hil-liary…rest assured that really gets their goat!

TRUMP’S ILLEGALS’ PLAN…what I was sent 8/28/15…

Immigration plan
Reposted from another thread.

Inside Trump’s Illegal Immigration Proposals – How To Stop Illegal Immigration Part II
The topic of illegal immigration is a subject we have reviewed, researched and offered possible solutions to be considered for over four years. In Part ONE we outlined how illegal aliens achieve work in the U.S. and what would be needed to remove the incentive.

Any solution to solving the problem must first understand how the problem of illegal alien employment is supported by U.S. policy. In our opinion, removing those conflicting employment policies is something that has to be done.
We have now had time to review Donald Trump’s border security and immigration proposals. Happily, he, and those who advise him, appear to be right over the target.

In addition to PART ONE “understanding illegal alien employment“, back in 2014 we shared the predictable impact of just enforcing the current U.S. laws on border entry – with the simple addition of a border wall.

Trump’s proposal carries:
the border wall solution,
the employment solution,
the enforcement mechanisms of current law,
and another angle that is strategically essential.

“WESTERN UNION REMITTANCES” (Money Services Compliance):
[…] Meanwhile, Mexico continues to make billions on not only our bad trade deals but also relies heavily on the billions of dollars in remittances sent from illegal immigrants in the United States back to Mexico ($22 billion in 2013 alone)
[…] Mexico must pay for the wall and, until they do, the United States will, among other things: impound all remittance payments derived from illegal wages; [page 2, paragraph 7]
In April 2015, within another article written about actually solving the issue, in direct response to the flaws in the Gang of Eight proposal we wrote:

Any actual immigration proposal will have substantive impact on the root causes and not just the illegal alien individuals working around the flawed systems to the benefit of their families.
As previously mentioned if any candidate wanted to get serious about stopping illegal alien influx they would have to put forth something similar to this:

If you want to begin a mass plan to deal with illegals, start first by eliminating Money Transfer services to Mexico (Western Union etc). Watch how quickly the problem begins to self-correct.

>>But no-one wants to actually propose factual solutions because both sides of the political spectrum actually want illegal aliens to continue doing what they’ve always been allowed to do.<<

• *Year one – Stop open wire money transfers (use same process we used for Cuban remittances). Require U.S. Treasury compliance form (SS and DL#) attached and accompanying every electronic fund transaction outgoing to Mexico and South America.

• *Year two – build a 15ft double chain link fence across the entire Southern border, filled with sand between both fences just like North and South Korea use. CCTV and Drone Monitored by DHS and Border Patrol.

• *Year three – Put Federal DHS immigration offices, INS, (or trailers – coordinate with FEMA based on demographics) in every State DOT office. Give illegal aliens 1 year to apply for Green Cards.

• *Year Four – require every business, corporation, sole proprietorship, etc. to have an employment compliance officer
(can be a title added to HR person). Every compliance officer will be required to sign an annual form verifying employment eligibility for every employee in the company. Annual Social Security check (card check system) – Penalty for infraction:
• $100,000 fine per employee • 1 year jail term for company owner, board of directors, and/or compliance officer.

At the beginning of year 4 you will see less than 25% of illegals remaining in the U.S.
At the beginning of year #5 you will see almost negligible amounts of illegal aliens remaining. (link)
[Embargoing the Western Union remittance payment fees immediately halts the Mexican government from profiting off inbound wire transfers. The transfer fees are encountered by the recipient (Mexico) not the sender (U.S.A.) –
there is no fee on the sender, only the recipient.]

Well, apparently we have finally found a candidate proposing EXACTLY what we previously shared would be needed. Trump’s immigration proposal is the FIRST we have ever noted which matches our prior research 100%.

Those “debates” were excellent as far as conservatism on display.

I sure hope the under 40s were watching in droves to see people and ideas blocked by the vile DNC whore media.

Was not much of a debate though…more of a grilling…..

Isn’t it odd that we have had 7 years of an arrogant angry bold lying toxic socialist democrat thug who got a pass

not only when he ran but 90% of the time ever since…despite the long recession and disregard for the congress elected by
WeThePeople and the Constitution……..

BUT the FNC media suddenly gets all aggressive and asks bold questions NOW to the GOP……Why is that?

The obvious planned DT-only personal attacks reinforced the media hate by millions. Maybe just to avoid being accused of bias BUT it sure seemed as a pander to the status quo entrenched elite political class!

It was uplifting to see 2 of the 3 non-political class candidates have a good night.

Can you imagine any democrat candidate being hammered like most GOP candidates were last night?

Imagine any democrat candidate lying or evading like HRC being treated like a GOPer? Not likely IMHO

***The Drudge Report 8/6/15***
My take:

BTW, this is a sure sign Trump is being effective!!!

Today (July 5.2015) I watched the 1997 PBS “Lewis and Clark:
The Journey of the Corps of Discovery”. I read a (way pre-PC) book account some years ago.

PBS finally came to a small segment covering the shock of indian tribes (aka prehistorics)
when they first saw a black man (with the expedition).

PBS said he was muscled and the women followed him out of curiosity.
They left out (on purpose one should suspect) that at least one chief ordered many of his squaws to have sex with the black man…to get his power (mojo). They did.

Now tell us that is not very interesting and worthy of knowing.
Did you ever ever hear of this before reading it now?
Oh, it may put a bad light on some groups so must be purged
from historical accounts. Sounds a lot like old Russian re-writers.

Such is the nature of the liberal who prefers fantasy (by creation or omission).

Now you are wondering what else the PBS has left out of historical specials
for PC/political fantasy reasons. I only wonder how much.
